British Patchwork & Quilting
A collection of eighteen projects, some with a couple of alternatives which makes the 20+ featured. Small items with a springtime theme include hot pads, pincushions, a sewing organiser, a lovely gnome cushion and a few other items including a lap quilt.
Each project has a time icon which indicates how long they take to make from 'in an afternoon' or 'make in a weekend'. Full-sized patterns are supplied to trace and there are good diagrams for each project.
There are many different methods used including patchwork, applique and some simple embroidery. There are pages on raw edge applique and one on quilting basics. I particularly liked the peacock pincushion and many of these items would make lovely gifts or craft items.
