The cover of the book immediately attracts knitters who love knitting toys. This book combines all the favourite patterns from Louise Crowthers previous two animal books but without the clothes. The animals are great and toddlers to grannies will love the finished projects. All patterns have the same bodies but noses, ears, beaks and tails differ so once you have knitted one you will have the confidence and knowledge to knit the others.
I have knitted several and I particularly love the pig. The yarns can easily be substituted so the small projects are a great way to use ones stash.
The photography is excellent and the patterns are well written. To make the projects one needs to be a confident knitter, but I am sure once you have knitted one and shown it to family and friends you will be asked to make several more.
