The stitches are divided into sections by type of stitch to make it easy to find what you want: texture, lace, cables, Aran cables, flower and leaf patterns, bobbles, lifted stitches, Fair Isle, intarsia, borders, and more. About Lydia Klös
Lydia Klös is a passionate knitter, and in addition to her work as a book author and jewelry designer, also frequently travels the lecturing circuit as a presenter and workshop instructor.
This book is a confident knitters bible with a wealth of patterns to use in projects. Whether it be cable, fair isle, intarsia, slipped stitch, brioche or lace designs you would like to knit there is no shortage of choice.
The layout of the book is very enticing and one could spend many an hour getting ideas and playing with stitches. The photography is excellent and the knitter can easily see how each finished piece should look.
The techniques section is extremely helpful with step-by-step instructions to follow, e.g. stranded colourwork using the continental method. All patterns have charts so if you prefer written instructions then the book is not for you.
I would love to add this book to my library for inspiration when knitting future projects.
